Are you annoyed by horses wandering away while you exploring? Me too. With this mod at least you have an alternative if you are in the desert.

This mod lets you mount a camel just like a horse, same mechanics.

Press "F" button to mount same as a horse

Catch a ride in the desert

Unfortunately these four legged desert striders still find a way to loose you as well, but at least you can find another one in the desert easily rather than going back to a different biome to look for a horse.
